Oral Presentations Upload

Make sure your files are named using the following format: AbstractnumberLastname.filetype

  • Example: if John Smith is giving the first talk (#1) and has a powerpoint file and 2 videos the three files should be labelled 1Smith.pptx, 1SmithA.mp4, and 1SmithB.mp4

Do not add any other information to the filename

Make sure to hit the "submit" button after you have uploaded your talk.

Oral and Poster Presentation Information

Oral Presentations

If you were selected for an oral presentation, plan for a maximum of 12 min talk + 3 min questions.

Turbo Talk (+ Poster Presentation)

If you were selected for a turbo talk, plan for a maximum of 2 min for your presentation (no questions). You may have a maximum of 1 title slide + 3 data slides.

Poster Presentations

Poster dimensions are a maximum of 33 inches (height) x 46 inches (width).

Visa for ToxoXVI

We are excited for the many international researchers we anticipate attending ToxoXVI. As determining who needs a visa is a complicated procedure, we recommend you work with your department or institution administration to determine if you need a visa, what visa you might need, and how to apply for this visa.

Safety & Conduct

Safety and COVID-19 Precautions

Although we anticipate that many attendees will be vaccinated by May 2022, we recognize that there may be a small population of unvaccinated attendees. During registration, we will require that attendees attest to:

  • being fully vaccinated or

  • being tested within 3 days prior to arriving at the conference and wearing a mask to all conference events and activities.

We will adhere to local and CDC guidelines/recommendations for holding large gatherings in a safe manner.

As part of registration, registrants will have to agree to the Code of Conduct for ToxoXVI. This Code is embedded in the registration process but can also be downloaded below.
